To enhance, personalize, and support your experience on and through the Site, among other things, we collect, use, and share your user information. For example, we use aggregated information to develop content targeted to user interests and to generally improve the Site’s user experience. Your user information will also be collected when (i) making a purchase, (ii) submitting a product review or (iii) posting a comment on our blog. If you have any requests, comments, or questions about this Privacy Policy or your user information, please contact us in the manner provided below.
This Privacy Policy covers the Site. You may encounter and click through links on the Site to other websites, such as those relating to third-party sponsors, advertisers, and other partners, which are not covered by this Privacy Policy unless otherwise noted on such site. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the activities of our third-party sponsors, advertisers, and other partners that may collect your user information while accessing or using such third party’s services in connection with your use of the Site (e.g. social media and sharing services). This Privacy Policy does not cover the privacy and information practices of these third parties. To learn more about such third-party policies, we encourage you to read and review the privacy statements of each third-party service that you may choose to use in connection with the Site. As a general reminder, please think carefully before you decide to put anything on the Internet. For example, if you voluntarily disclose user information in chat areas or bulletin boards (e.g., comments sections), that information could be seen and used by others, and may result in unsolicited messages from others. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information or other user information you may choose to submit in these public forums. To request removal of your personal information from any publicly viewable forum or page, please contact us as provided below. In some cases, we may not be able to remove personal information voluntarily disclosed by you in such forums or pages for legal retention purposes or technical limitations (e.g., the data may not be searchable), in which case, we will notify you if we are unable to do so.
Information Collected
When you use the Site, your user information may be collected, used, and shared in a variety of manners. As detailed below, the type of user information collected may vary based on how it was gathered, but may include, among other things, your name, billing and shipping address, phone number, electronic mail (“email”) address, and other information that you voluntarily submit (e.g., when making a purchase), information automatically collected about your usage of the Site (e.g., the content that you choose to view), and information about you that our third-party partners may share with us if such third-party partners have previously received your consent to do so.
Voluntary Submission
When you purchase a product or actively provide us with other information, you will know what information we are collecting because you are actively submitting it. Because we change our offerings and features from time to time, the options you have to provide us with personal information also may change, but here are some examples of situations in which you may decide to provide personal information to us:
- Creating an account;
- Signing up for email alerts;
- Completing a form related to one of our products or services;
- Completing a product purchase; and
- Contacting us for technical support or customer service.
Depending on how you interact with the Site or SpAACes, the personal information we collect from you may vary. For example, to create an account we may ask only for an email address and password. In other circumstances, such as when you complete a form related to a particular service offering, we may ask you to provide other information, such as your name, phone number, and shipping and billing address. On a voluntary basis, you may also decide to provide us more sensitive information such as your payment information including a credit or debit card number. Failure to provide SpAACes with this personal information will prevent you from fully utilizing the Site and from completing a product purchase. You should not include sensitive data (such as credit or debit card numbers) in any submission except where we specifically prompt you to provide such information.
If you connect a third-party payment account to the Site, such as PayPal, we will receive information that you authorize this third-party payor to share with us including personal information. Any information that we collect from your third-party payor account may depend on the privacy settings you have set with the third-party payor so please consult these third-parties’ privacy and data practices.
Automated Collection
When you use the Site, your device is automatically providing information to us so we can respond and customize our response to you. The type of information we collect by automated means may vary, but generally includes technical information about your computer, such as your IP address or other device identifier, the type of device you use, and operating system version. The information we collect also may include usage information and statistics about your interaction with the Site. That information may include the URLs of our web pages that you visited, URLs of referring and exiting pages, page views, time spent on a page, number of clicks, platform type, location data, and other information about how you used the Site. Automated means of data collection include the following:
Web Browser. When you visit a SpAACes website, your browser automatically sends us your Internet protocol (“IP”) address so that the web pages you request can be sent to your computer or device. We may use your IP address to determine additional information, such as whether the computer or device has ever been used to visit the Site before, which of the Site features were used the most often, and how much time was spent on a page.
Web Beacons and Log Files. We use “web beacons” (also known as Internet tags, pixel tags, tracking pixels, and clear GIFs) on our websites and those of certain of our job posting clients. These web beacons allow us and third parties to collect information such as the IP address of the device, the URL of the web page, the time the page was viewed, the type of browser used, and any additional information in cookies that may have been set by the third party. The information is typically collected in log files, which generally track traffic on our websites. We use this information for a variety of purposes, including the management of our online advertising by establishing which ads brought users to our websites. The information also is used for analytical purposes and to manage technical issues that may arise. We do not attempt to identify individual users through this information.
Cookies. A cookie is a small data file that is written to your computer’s hard drive by your web browser. A cookie file can contain and/or automatically collect information, such as a user identification code or IP address, that a website will use to track the pages and number of times you have visited. The data read from these cookies may be linked to personally identifying (PII) and non-personally identifying (non-PII) information. We use cookies and similar technologies on the Site to personalize and optimize your browsing experience and the Site. We may create and assign to your device an identifier that is similar to an account number. We may collect the device type and any other information you choose to provide, such as user name, geolocation or email address.
Mobile Analytics. We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our mobile software on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and from where the application was downloaded. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information you submit within the mobile application.
Location Data. If you access the Site using a mobile device, we may collect your physical location if you have enabled this feature. Even if you are not using a mobile device, information about your general location may be discernable from your device’s IP address or the URLs we receive.
We may receive information about your activity on and off the Site from our affiliates, advertisers, partners, employers, recruiters, and other third parties we work with. For example: our advertisers and service providers working on their behalf may share with us non-identifying personal information such as gender, age or income).

In the event of a sale, merger, public offering, bankruptcy or other change in control of SpAACes, your information may be shared with the person or business that then owns or controls the site. Opting out of receiving information from third parties will not affect our right to transfer your information to a new owner, but your choices will continue to be respected regarding the use of your information. You will be notified as described below in “How will I know if the Privacy Statement is changed?”

You agree to waive your right to file a pre-suit discovery proceeding seeking a user’s identifying information from the Site. If you intend to propound discovery seeking a user’s identifying information, you agree to do so pursuant to a valid Wisconsin subpoena, properly issued in connection with an active lawsuit and properly served on our registered agent in
Wisconsin at CommunicATion SpAACes, LLC, 9279 Klondike Drive Marshfield, Wisconsin 54449. You further agree that all such subpoenas and discovery proceedings arising from such subpoenas shall be issued from, brought and resolved exclusively in the state courts located within Dane County, Wisconsin or the federal courts in the Western District of Wisconsin, as appropriate, and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of each of these courts for such discovery proceedings.
Governing Law
The Terms and any and all claims, disputes, or other legal proceedings by or between you or us, including but not limited to any such claims or disputes that are in any way related to or arising under the Terms or your access to or use of the Site, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin without giving effect to any conflict-of-laws principles that may otherwise provide for the application of the law of another jurisdiction. Any claim, dispute, or other legal proceeding shall be brought and litigated exclusively in the state courts located within Dane County, Wisconsin or the federal courts in the Western District of Wisconsin, as appropriate, and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of each of these courts for the purpose of litigating such claims or disputes.
Other
Except as specifically stated in another agreement we have with you, the Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Site and the Terms supersede all prior proposals, negotiations, agreements, and understandings concerning the subject matter of the Terms. You represent and warrant that no person has made any promise, representation, or warranty, whether express or implied, not contained herein to induce you to enter into this agreement. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of the Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, then only that provision shall be modified to reflect the parties’ intention or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. To the extent allowed by law, the English version of the Terms is binding and translations, if applicable, are provided for convenience only. The Terms, and any rights or obligations hereunder, are not assignable, transferable or sublicensable by you except with SpAACes’ prior written consent, but may be assigned or transferred by us without restriction. Any attempted assignment by you shall violate the Terms and be void. The section titles in the Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect; as used in the Terms, the word “including” and “such as” means “including but not limited to.”
